Comunità isolane, esperti, soggetti interessati, si incontreranno per esplorare i modi per raggiungere l’obiettivo del 100% di energia da fonti rinnovabili, in relazione con le priorità ambientali, economiche e sociali.

Il Forum mostrerà i progressi fatti con i 30 segretariati per le isole, relativi a 2030 iniziative. Discuteremo i primi risultati, affronteremo le sfide poste dalla transizione energetica ed esploreremo come questi risultati possono essere riprodotti per ottenere una transizione sostenibile.
I partecipanti scopriranno stimolanti progetti attualmente in corso riguardanti 30 delle 2030 isole, focalizzando i modi in cui essi vanno incontro ai bisogni ambientali, economici e sociali. Attraverso la discussione interattiva identificheremo le difficoltà e le opportunità per migliorare i risultati.
Il Forum di quest’anno offre anche un aiuto pratico da parte di gruppi di lavoro che stanno lavorando sulle priorità ambientali, economiche e sociale e sulle sfide ce sono vitali per cotruire un futuro energetico sostenibile.
L’evento sarà organizzato sul posto, in São Miguel, Azorre e in Portogallo. Eventi selezionati in agenda, saranno trasmessi in diretta.

Join us in the Azores for the #CE4EUislands forum 2025!
Island communities, experts, and stakeholders will come together to explore the path to achieving a 100% renewable energy future while balancing environmental, economic, and social priorities.
SAVE THE DATE: 14-15 May 2025, São Miguel, AZORES, PORTUGAL
The forum will showcase the progress made with the EU islands secretariat’s 30 for 2030 initiative. We will discuss the first results, tackle the challenges of the island energy transition, and explore how the findings can be replicated to achieve a sustainable transition.
Participants will discover exciting projects currently leading the renewable energy transition across the 30 for 2030 islands, focusing on how they’re meeting environmental, economic, and social needs. Through interactive discussions, we’ll identify gaps and opportunities to scale up these successes.
This year’s forum also offers hands-on collaboration with working groups tackling key environmental, economic, and social priorities and challenges that are vital for building a sustainable energy future!
The event will be organised on-site in São Miguel, Azores and Portugal. Selected agenda points will be live-streamed.
